Continuing the Seiko heritage of watchmaking innovation and design evolution, this Prospex diver’s watch is evolved from a combination of two popular Seiko designs.

Nicknamed by fans for their unique case shapes, the ‘Samurai’ and ‘Shōgun’ are popular Seiko models which are angular in shape and instantly recognisable. This latest Compact diver’s watch takes elements from both heritage designs, as well as adding modernised features. Aesthetically, the blue model takes the steep angled lugs of the Shōgun and echoes the crown design of the Samurai model with the straight contours of both blueprints.

In terms of size, this piece has a compact 41.7mm diameter case and slim design for comfortable wearability. Its new features include a date window at 4.5 o’clock, pointed hands, and a bracelet with press-formed integral links for an elegant feel that matches the linearity of the case. This watch is compliant with the recognised ISO standards for professional diving watches. It is water resistant to 200m.
