CITIZEN PROMASTER was established in 1989 to meet the demands of professionals active in the most challenging environments of land, sea, and sky. Celebrating its 35th anniversary in 2024, the brand is launching three combination watch models featuring the newly developed Cal. U822 movement to commemorate this milestone. These models feature a Memory-in-Pixel (MIP) display, which offers higher resolution and better visibility compared to the previous segment LCD, allowing for more detailed information display. The MIP technology also enhances outdoor readability. Additionally, the light level indicator visualizes the power generated by the light-powered Eco-Drive system, now with improved visibility and the ability to display up to seven days of power generation history. This intuitive display format makes it easy to remember when to recharge. The functionality of these watches is further enhanced with the ability to set multiple alarms for different times on different days, adding practicality to the timepieces. The dial features large, legible hands combined with Arabic numerals and bar indices, and a matte finish reduces glare, ensuring the analog display is always clearly visible. The inner ring can be rotated using the crown at the 8 o’clock position, enabling the watch to function as a compass. The polyurethane band has been upgraded to contain BENEBiOL™, a biomass-based raw material, improving durability and environmental friendliness. These new models highlight CITIZEN PROMASTER's commitment to innovation, precision, and sustainability, marking 35 years of excellence in watchmaking.
