The Millesime small seconds timepiece with British Racing Green dial is added to the collection catalog, the first model of which was awarded and recognized by the watchmaking industry at the 2023 Grand Prix d'Horlogerie de Genève.
The British Racing Green sector dial, set beneath a vintage-inspired domed sapphire crystal, has been refined to the highest degree. The silver-toned hour and minute hands are filled with Super-LumiNova®, revealing a subtle glow in the dark.
The dial presents the hours, minutes and seconds on discreet markers, thus improving readability. Analysis of the dial reveals multiple contrasts: the hour track is smooth, the minute track is decorated with a snail pattern, and the central area of the dial is adorned with delicate vertical brushing. The Millesime model features a small seconds display at 6 o'clock, which, thanks to a discreet hollowed-out ring, not only delineates but also introduces an elegant play of depth. The whole is enriched with a selection of refined details. The bezel is enhanced with vertical satin brushing that contrasts magnificently with the delicately polished bevel nearby.
This juxtaposition of the two finishes reinforces the overall level of finishing of the timepiece. The transparent case back also allows the automatic movement to be observed from another angle and the W-shaped oscillating weight, a watchmaking signature of the Maison RAYMOND WEIL, to be seen. This new model is enhanced with a stainless steel bracelet.
